The Meaning
NEN comes from 念, the Japanese kanji that combines 今 (now) and 心 (heart). It means attention — the act of being fully present in this moment. We chose it because the smallest things in your daily life deserve the most care, not the least.
The Origin
In every Indian kitchen, salt holds a quiet, sacred power. Our grandmothers called it Lakshmi — prosperity itself. They never handled it carelessly. We asked: why does the most important ingredient in every meal have the worst packaging and zero craft? Salt deserved better. So we built NEN.
The Format
Nobody puts salt in a dropper bottle. That's exactly why we did it. A serum format clings to food where solid crystals bounce off. Three drops coat every surface evenly. The format isn't a gimmick. It's the functionally correct way to finish a dish.
